About 1/3 of my crop of Roma plum tomatoes. I planted two plants. I’ll give some away tomorrow, cook with some in the next few days, and dehydrate a bunch for winter. Then I’ll repeat that process as needed.
I always plant more tomatoes than I know I’m going to need. Some might not grow and then you wouldn’t have enough. And if they all do grow, there’s some to eat, lots to dehydrate and I love having some to give away!
These look fantastic! Romas are so good. Congrats on a fine looking harvest
Thanks! I have never seen tomato production like these 2 Romas are doing.
Congratulations! That’s a beautiful and bountiful harvest. They look luscious. 😀
Thanks. I’ll hate to see them end.
I can certainly understand that! At least you have next year to look forward to. 😀
Baked roma tomatoes are delicious when cut in half and drizzled with oil and balsamic vinegar before baking.
Oh wow, thanks for a great idea! I broil them a lot with onions and green or red peppers, but never thought of baking them……….but I will now!
