I visited the site. Shippensburg
along with other towns in Franklin County
suffered during the Civil War. I’m glad
that the town continues to remind folks and
observe the happenings of that terrible
time. It keeps fresh in our minds that
freedom comes at a cost.
It’s a very big weekend for our town cos we’re interested in our history. And freedom sure does come at a cost. And Shippensburg Historical Society ROCKS!
