The little crocus, the smallest I ever saw, and always the first thing thru the ground, survived the snow. They are spreading and I don’t know how/why, and I don’t care! They’re in places they’ve never been before, hundreds of them. The earth warms up and jewels like this come back to life. Wonderful.
We have our first autumn crocus out here.
Enjoy your autumn flowers! They’re such delicate little things.
Beautiful. I think they have been surviving the snow for a long, long time! It is so nice that the signs of spring are amongst us and growing! I love the warmth… enjoy!
Beautiful… I think they have been surviving the snows for a long, long time… spring is coming! Enjoy!
They sure have. Thanks, you too and write about your adventures!
First off I’d like ti say that is a great capture of that flower! My apologies for not commenting sooner. I also wanted to thank you for asking about twitter. I replied to you but in a new reply cause there was no more room to comment. Again, I apologize for taking so long to comment.
Oh thank you so much! No problem about replying; we’re all busy!
😀
I agree, it’s wonderful to see this happen.
It’s always a very good sign!
Beautiful!
Thanks, and thanks for visiting. I wait patiently for them every spring………..
