It’s the season of good holidays, and I hope you each have healthy, special holidays, whatever yours are. We have differences, but it’s good to be able to come together for a short time and wish each other well. Peace on earth is still the best Christmas wish.

I’m posting this on the first full day of winter, as the wheel of the year turns and we begin to go back to the light. It feels like winter for us here right now, and the darkness feels really dark, but as the light returns, some things around us will begin to get better too. We hope to return to feelings of caring, and peace, and common sense in our lives and the way we fit into our world. That’s as political as I’ll get.
Have happy, healthy holidays and be well in the new year. I’ll soon be blogging for 8 years, and feel like I “know” some regular readers. To whoever you are, be happy and enjoy Today.

Merry Christmas! I am sorry that I was gone for so long. I have been sicker than I have been in many MANY years. I have not missed getting online for this long in more than a year.
Oh no, sick over the holidays is worse than sick other times. I hope whatever it was is all gone now and you can feel back to normal.
Oh, it was even worse than that. The guys at work rented one of the cabins for me for nine days while they are not in use. I got sick just after arrival, and am just now recovering on my last night! I was fortunate that I had such a comfortable place to stay through the illness, but I could not enjoy it much. It really was luxurious!
Oh my, that’s all sad.
Yes, but it worked out for the better. I still enjoyed it. It was AWESOME!
Well good. No better place to be sick then.
