I grow green beans in the strangest places

pole beans

And not always on purpose!  Last year a green bean seed somehow got among my tomato plants.  It gave me as many beans as if it had been growing on some non-living trellis, lol.   https://sarasinart.net/2013/07/17/tomatoes-and-green-beans-go-together-really/

This year as I was taking a bowl of beans to the garden to plant, I must have dropped one down in this yucca plant.  It’s spindly and I’m not sure the root is even in the ground, but it’s trying! If it starts to look really serious, I’ll give it some kind of support to grow up on.  Another of nature’s miracles; I see a lot of them in the summer.

    • Jackie I’m thinking there are also green fingers cos things are doing so well this year. Cooler temps and enough rain supplemented by the garden hose have made gardens in this are very productive so far. I hope you are doing well!
