My mother’s last words on life

flowers

My mother passed away on 5/23, after 87 years of adventure and a good  life. She was tired and had suffered for several years before that, but tried to fight against that and did fight till just near the end.

She wrote some thoughts down when she had turned 70, and asked that this be read at her funeral.  It should be meaningful to people of all ages, and I know she would be happy to have it shared with so many people now.

  1. Thank you for sharing such a heartwarming post. Your mother was a very wise woman.

  2. I am sorry for your loss. My dad passed away 20 years ago and I still miss him. I lost my beloved aunt a year ago and I tear-up whenever I think of all the things I won’t be able to do with her. The only way to honor those we’ve loved and lost is to live well– for them….

    • Thank you. It’s so sad to lose those we love but sometimes it’s time, and it was her time, cos she was so sick for so long. I like your thought, to live well for them.
