There’s a Christmas song that says that time is the most wonderful time of the year. I disagree, and think this is the most wonderful time of the year.
Everything is lush right now, green all around. And If you’re a regular reader, you know I’m fascinated (obsessed?) with watching beans grow. So now there are beans up at each pole of my bamboo pergola, and that gets me out in the garden several times each day, checking to see how they are doing.
This time of the year, the gifts come from the earth. Watching things grow, getting ready to produce food, from seeds that have grown the same plants for centuries, the magic of the earth, the best of everything.
I agree…this is the most wonderful time of the year! All the energy and new growth, spring babies, and fifty shades of green…plus a rainbow of flowers!!!
It’s everywhere all around us. Grow on with your wonderful gardens. I’m old(er) and mine has gotten smaller over the years, but it’s still my passion.
So true! We’re in the most wonderful time of the year, I fully agree. Always looking forward to read about your gardening adventures…
Happy gardening, my friend!
Thanks Herman. You know there will be more. I’m all excited now cos beans are coming up. Of all the garden things, watching the life of beans is the best. 😊. And then eating them.
